Do you work in a studio?
Yes, I have a private studio just outside of downtown Colorado Springs, CO.
Will anyone else be there?
The hair and makeup artist is present at the beginning to help pamper you. Once we finish there, she leaves and it just you and myself for the remainder of your session.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! Please see my Investment page to get more information.
Do you offer male or couples boudoir?
I do offer couples, but for past clients only at the moment. This allows more comfort for the couple as one of the parties has already shot a session with me, and also a more safe and comfortable situation for myself. At the moment, I am not offering male only boudoir sessions. This is something I may offer in the future.
I'm a curvy girl, is that an issue?
Absolutely not! In fact, we love curves around here! It is not about your size or shape, but who you are and the confidence you bring to the shoot. Curves are beautiful and we love to celebrate them. Plus, we know exactly how to pose you and use lighting to show you at your best!
All of the women on your website/social media look amazing - what if I don't look as good?
Our clients are all different sizes, ages, and body types. Nobody comes in looking perfect and we ALL have things that we are self-conscious about. The images you see on our site are of regular women who have gained the confidence though encouragement from our team throughout the session. No matter what you look like, you will leave full of confidence!
I'm so nervous! I don't know if I can do that...
Being nervous is completely normal! From the moment you walk in, we do our best to make you feel comfortable. We're all women here! I promise you by the time you leave, you will feel as gorgeous and confident as you truly are.
Can I do my own make-up and hair and get a discount on the session fee?
We offer complimentary hair and makeup, therefore we cannot offer a discount. You are welcome to do it yourself, however, I highly recommend taking advantage of the hair and makeup artist as she is an expert at photoshoot looks and readiness.
How will I know what to do with my arms/face/body?
This is part of my job! I will help you to relax and truly enjoy yourself. I will personally help you pose and show you exactly what to do to get the most flattering shots.
Do you remove scars/blemishes?
As part of my editing, I am happy to remove blemishes, scars, and marks. However, at Ashley Nichols Boudoir, we truly believe in celebrating the true beauty of your body as it is. I will not change the shape of your body, but will do everything I can to show your true beauty.
I don't know what to wear! Help!
During our consultation, I am happy to offer wardrobe advice and help. You want to make sure you choose something that is comfortable for you and as long as it fits well and doesn't dig in anywhere, you are golden! Try bringing something personal to you or your partner like a jersey, hat, shirt, or uniform. I also have a full client closet that is available to all of my clients that contains sizes XS-4X.
Can I bring/use props?
Yes! Props are so much fun and a great way to add a personal touch. If you have a hobby or certain interest, bring something relating to that. You can even bring handcuffs, candy, popsicles, etc! Please, just let me know ahead of time so that I can be ready with poses.
Will my images be used on your website or social media?
Your privacy is your decision. Images will only be used with your written approval. All of the women we showcase have given permission to share their images and experience.
What is your policy if I decide to cancel?
Each session requires a $500 fee at time of booking that is non-refundable. I only book a certain number of sessions each month, which reserves your spot on our calendar and does not allow us to book another client. You can reschedule within 72 hrs of your session at no additional charge (reschedules must be held within 6 months of original date).
How many outfits can I wear?
Your session includes 2-3 outfits plus some of our “white sheet” and nude poses if you are comfortable.
